Eurofighter Typhoons and Su-30s to face off in exercise
Eurofighter Typhoons from the RAF are scheduled to take on the Indian Air Force's Su-30MKIs in an exercise later this month. The Typhoon is a contender for India's Medium Multi-Role Combat Aircraft (MMRCA) contract.

BAE orders Captor M radars for Tranche 3A Typhoons
Selex Galileo has won a contract from BAE Systems to supply 88 Captor radars to equip Tranche 3A examples of the Eurofighter Typhoon. The radars will equip aircraft of the four Typhoon development partners until an AESA radar is available.

RAF resumes Typhoon operations
Following the recent grounding, RAF Typhoons have resumed operations after an urgent fix to the harness of the Mk.16A seat. Austria, Germany, Italy, Saudi Arabia and Spain have also temporarily grounded their aircraft.

RAF joins other operators in grounding Eurofighter Typhoons
The RAF has joined the Eurofighter Typhoon's other operators in grounding the aircraft after initial investigations revealed that the the ejection seat or parachute issues caused the death of a Royal Saudi Air Force pilot following last month's Spanish Typhoon crash.

Eurofighter Typhoon offered to Poland
The Eurofighter consortium has offered the Typhoon multirole fighter to Poland, as the nation seeks to find a replacement for its Sukhoi Su-22 Fitters.

Selex scoops Eurofighter protection deal
Selex Galileo has won a BAe contract worth roughly £400 million ($615 million) to provide defensive aids subsystem (DASS) equipment for Eurofighter Typhoon Tranche 3A aircraft. The self-protection suite has been dubbed Praetorian and deliveries will start in 2012.

New RAF Typhoon squadron to be formed at Leuchars
No. 6 Sqn RAF will soon be stood up at RAF Leuchars in Scotland with the Eurofighter Typhoon. Formerly the last Sqn operating the Sepcat Jaguar, the unit will be the first full-strength RAF Typhoon squadron not based at RAF Coningsby.

Saudi pilot killed in Spanish Eurofighter crash
It has been reported that a two-seat Eurofighter Typhoon has crashed while on a training flight in Spain. A Royal Saudi Air Force Lieutenant Colonel has been killed while the Spanish AF pilot on board has ejected successfully.

BAE presses technology-transfer track record in Indian Typhoon campaign
