VIDEO: RAAF F/A-18F Super Hornet first JSOW live fire

In September Australia's new Super Hornets tested their deployment capabilities as No. 1 Squadron conducted their first live weapon trials at the Woomera Test Range, north of Adelaide. This is a video of the first AGM-154C JSOW (Joint Stand Off Weapon) live fire by a RAAF Super Hornet.

VIDEO: USS Essex Valiant Shield SinkEx

AV-8B Harriers of Marine Attack Squadron (VMA) 542 on board the USS Essex took part in a Sinking Exercise during the recently concluded Exercise Valiant Shield 2010. The target was the decommissioned destroyer tender USS Acadia (AD 42).

Boeing F-15 Silent Eagle Demonstrator Completes first Weapon Launch

Boeing has announced that the F-15SE Silent Eagle has successfully completed its first missile launch on the 14th of July. This follows its Weapons Bay Test (Captive Carriage flight) on the 8th.
