Embraer unveils Indian EMB-145 AEW&C aircraft
In a ceremony held at its Brazilian headquarters, Embraer has unveiled the first of three EMB 145 Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) aircraft destined for the Indian Air Force. The aircraft will now carry out ground and flight tests with delivery scheduled in the second half of 2011

Indian AEW programme nears first flight
Embraer is modifying an ERJ-145 with an indigenous Indian airborne early warning and control system payload. It aims for the aircraft to make its first flight in the first quarter of 2011 and to be delivered to the IAF by the end of the same year.
