Call for probe into diversion of Pakistan floodwater from air base

There are increasing calls for a probe into allegations that floodwaters were diverted from inundating a Pakistani Air Force base to save the Air Force's F-16s. The airbase is also rumoured to house American UAVs conducting the war against the Pakistani Taliban and their allies.

Afghan Air Force assists in Pakistan flood relief

The Afghan Air Force's fleet of Mi-17 helicopters is participating in the relief operations in the wake of the devastating floods in Pakistan. More importantly, the nascent air force is doing it with little or no input from American military trainers and advisers.

US Air Force reservists support flood relief operations

The operation to provide humanitarian assistance to the victims of the Pakistani floods continue with USAF reservist C-130 crews and aircraft from the 746th Expeditionary Wing supporting the operation.

USS Kearsarge and Ospreys to deploy for Pakistan flood relief

The US Navy has announced that USS Kearsarge is to deploy for flood relief operations in Pakistan. On board will be the V-22 Ospreys of Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 266 (Reinforced) and the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU).

RAF continues Pakistan flood relief; Japan to provide helicopters

The RAF is continuing its mission to provide relief supplies to victims of the Pakistani floods with C-17s and C-130s flying in essential aid, while Japan has announced that 200 personnel and 6 JASDF helicopters will join the relief efforts.

Malaysian Air Force C-130s deliver aid to Pakistan

The Tentara Udara Diraja Malaysia (TUDM or Royal Malaysian Air Force) has dispatched two C-130 Hercules transports loaded with 50,000 lbs of relief aid to the victims of flooding in Pakistan.
