Call for probe into diversion of Pakistan floodwater from air base

There are increasing calls for a probe into allegations that floodwaters were diverted from inundating a Pakistani Air Force base to save the Air Force's F-16s. The airbase is also rumoured to house American UAVs conducting the war against the Pakistani Taliban and their allies.

USS Kearsarge and Ospreys to deploy for Pakistan flood relief

The US Navy has announced that USS Kearsarge is to deploy for flood relief operations in Pakistan. On board will be the V-22 Ospreys of Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 266 (Reinforced) and the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU).
