KC-30, Pakistani K-8s removed from Avalon Airshow list
The Airbus Military KC-30 tanker destined for the Royal Australian Air Force and the Pakistani Air Force K-8 trainers previously listed as participants for the upcoming Avalon Airshow in Geelong, Victoria have been removed from the Aircraft on Display list on the Avalon Airshow website.

Bolivia to take delivery of Chinese combat trainers
Bolivia will soon operate its first fixed wing combat aircraft, with the Bolivian Air Force soon to receive six Chinese-made K-8 Karakorum trainers to be used to combat drug trafficking. The aircraft have been bought through a loan from China.

Venezuela to acquire Shannxi Y-8 transports
Weeks after taking delivery of 18 K-8 trainers, Venezuela has announced it will purchase between 10 and 12 medium-range Shaanxi Y-8 transports from China. It is envisaged that the Y-8s will provide support for the Venezuela's fleet of C-130 Hercules transports.
