Romania halts MiG-21 training flights after fatal crash
After a crash which killed two pilots on the 1st of November, the Romanian Air Force has halted all training flights by its fleet of MiG-21s. Romania operates an active fleet of approximately 70 upgraded MiG-21 Lancers.

USAF Eagles head to Romania for joint exercises
The 493rd Fighter Squadron of the USAF's 48th Fighter Wing has flown ten F-15 Eagles to Campia Turzii Airbase in Romania for Exercise Golden Lance with the Romanian Air Force. The 493rd is normally based at RAF Lakenheath in England while Campai Turzii is home to the Romanian Air Force's upgraded MiG-21 Lancers.
