How Berne got its sums wrong on F-5 replacement

A Swiss Ministry of Defence report has stated that the original cost estimate to replace the Swiss AF's F-5s with newer aircraft was off by up to 50% from the actual cost. The decision to purchase new fighters will be put off to no later than 2015.
