USAF retires T-43 trainer

After 37 years of service, the USAF has retired the T-43 Gator trainer from its role of training navigators (or Combat Systems Officers). The modified Boeing 737 will be replaced by T-1 Jayhawks, T-6 Texan IIs and ground simulators.
