Singapore to deploy Fokker 50s Maritime Patrol Aircraft for anti-piracy

For the first time, Singapore will deploy the Republic of Singapore Air Force's Fokker 50 Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) to the Gulf of Aden for anti-piracy missions. The RSAF operates nine Fokker 50s, four transports and five MPAs. Singapore has already sent ships to the region in anti-piracy operations.
