USAF to buy Blackhawks from Army

In a bid to replace the UH-1N Hueys it currently uses to monitor ICBM sites, the US Air Force is close to finalizing a deal to buy up to 93 UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters from the US Army. USAF officials are proposing to buy the helicopters without seeking competitive bids.
