Indian pilot trainees continue to fly MiG-21 due to Hawk issues

Delays in the deliveries of 66 BAE Hawk trainers means that Indian AF pilot trainees continue to cut their teeth on the elderly MiG-21 fleet. Defective components and support equipment delivered by BAE to Hindustan Aeronautics have been blamed for the delay.
