Lockheed Martin plans to more than double F-35 test flights in 2011

Lockheed Martin is currently in talks to determine the number of flight tests for the F-35 programme. The company is looking at 872 test flights for the F-35 in 2011, more than double the 410 achieved for 2010. The number is however lower than the 1,000 test flights for this year planned for in June 2010.
