Libyan Su-22 crew ejects; plane crashes after reportedly refusing orders

A Libyan newspaper has reported that a Libyan Su-22 'Fitter' ground attack aircraft has crashed in the east of the country after the crew ejected. The report claims the crew had refused orders to attack anti-government protesters, the second such reported occasion this week after another pair of Libya pilots defected to Malta earlier. Libya operates a number of Su-22UM-3K twin-seaters.
