Russian Mi-28 helicopter gunship crashes in southern Russia; one killed

A Russian Mil Mi-28 attack helicopter has crashed near Stavropol in southern Russia. According to preliminary information, the engine gearbox broke and the crew decided to carry out an emergency landing when the aircraft crashed. Both crew were hospitalised, with the pilot subsequently succumbing to his injuries.
