The 21 F-16s of the U.S. Air Force's 18th Aggressor Squadron will move from their current home at Eielson Air Force Base, to nearby Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, with the transfer scheduled take place in FY 2013. At the same time, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage will have all four of its C-130H cargo planes retired or transferred.
The move is part of a recently announced restructuring of the USAF.
