NAS Lemoore or El Centro being considered for Navy F-35 basing

Two Californian Naval Air Stations are being considered to be the primary West Coast base for the US Navy's F-35 fighters. Either NAS El Centro or Lemoore will be selected to house approximately 100 F-35s after an exhaustive study, with the first planes expected to arrive in 2015.
