French Air Force accused of scaring 5,000 chickens to death

The Armee de l'Air has been accused by a farmer in Brittany of killing 5,000 of his chickens after its aircraft flew over their coop at low level. The Air Force admits flying over the area at the time, but insist their aircraft were flying at a permitted altitude.
